I had a great time with this family as I took them on a photography adventure through the field. I so wish I would have had my camera ready when Mr. C took a crash down the grassy hill….mental note: slick shoes & grassy fields don’t mix, he was a great sport about it & we all got a good laugh out of it! I could not have asked for a more beautiful weekend than what we just had, especially after the cold, gray, snowy weekends we seemed to be having continuously these past few weeks. I had the pleasure of meeting this adorable family for an outdoor shoot which I was SOOOOOO excited about, its seems like it’s been forever since I’ve been able to hold an outdoor session. Here’s a peek for the F family, it was so nice to meet you.

I have been super busy since the new year changing things around a bit behind the scenes. I apologize for my lack of blogging or if I seemed to have fallen off the face of the earth, but I promise I’m still here and business is going to be better than ever once I hit the ground running in the next month. With our move back to Concord, from Greensboro, last summer I’ve had to start all over and work to rebuild my clientele which is no easy task. This move has taught me quite a bit and in a good way.
I apologize to any clients that my boudoir posts may offend or make feel uncomfortable. I have a new site underway for my boudoir photography so that it doesn’t turn any prospective clients away who are interested in family, child, newborn, or maternity sessions. I had played with photography throughout my life but I OFFICIALLY founded and registered Heather Love Photography in June 2008 as a child, family, newborn, and maternity photographer. I need to keep my roots separate from other areas of photography that I have ventured into that could make some people feel uneasy. I feel that boudoir may be a bit misunderstood but please note that the boudoir photography that I offer is very tasteful, classy, fun, modern, flirty, and is captured in lingerie. I feel that every woman, especially mommies, deserves to have a day to be pampered and feel like a supermodel. This is why I fell in love with boudoir photography, it’s about making women feel beautiful and it gives them a chance to let their beauty shine (not to mention it is a great gift for a significant other)
With all of that said, I love all of my clients and I look forward to comments and feedback once all of my changes are in full effect. Have a fabulous Monday!

Here’s the first sneak peek from my Valentines Day Mini Session’s….. K you’re gorgeous, I hope your man likes his valentine’s surprise

Aren’t these 2 so cute together? It was absolutely FREEZING outside on the day of the shoot but we all sucked it and found this adorable little tree and I love these 3 shots.

It’s a rare occasion that my little one will actually let me photograph her but today she was being super sweet so I decided to give it a shot. It was a beautiful warm sunny day out so we couldn’t let it go to waste..and sure enough she showed off for the camera

Another late blog post, but it’s better late than never. I’m sure everyone recognizes this little cutie, she’s a regular on my blog. The camera loves her and I love having her as a client! Isn’t this outfit absolutely adorable,  take a look at this custom Christmas tutu dress that her momma had made for her by the very talented Amber Hileman of Amber’s Funky Bowtique.

I photographed this little guy back in November but with the holidays and being a bit behind on blogging I haven’t had the chance to share his adorableness. Here are a few pics from his session. The pure innocence of newborns is too sweet.

I have known this little ball of energy since her very existence was discovered and now she’s 5, yes 5, where have the last 5 years gone? She had her own ideas of what she wanted to do for the shoot the only thing that she insisted I do was wear her princess crown on my head while I was taking her pictures, oh yea, you should have seen the looks from the people who passed by
