This little boy was definitely not happy that he had to have his pictures taken but he was still absolutely adorable. Nothing I did made him even crack a smile which reminded me so much of my own little one when we had our family pictures done around the same age. I look back at my pictures and they make me laugh because I remember the mood of my little one that day and nothing that anyone did was going to change that. Too often we think that pictures have to be perfect and that everyone has to be smiling but some of my favorite pictures are those where it tells a story. One positive way to look at it if you have a little one who isn’t wanting to cooperate for pictures is if everyone is smiling and happy there isn’t anything monumental that will stand out and give you a particular memory of the event.  Thank you so much M family

The holidays are right around the corner and we all know that pictures make the perfect gifts for family and friends!

One word for this little baby girl…..adorable!

This super sweet mama is expecting her third daughter any day now. I was beginning to get nervous that we weren’t going to be able to get this maternity shoot in due to all the rain and the storms that have been gracing us with their presence, however, as soon as I arrived at her house the sun peeked through the clouds just in time for our session! Isn’t this family just adorable, I can’t wait to meet their new addition.

I can now officially say that I have had the amazing opportunity to capture a couple’s milestones from their engagement to the birth of their first child and it has truly been something that makes my heart happy. It was so amazing to have this family’s property to shoot on, it was an absolutely gorgeous rustic location full of family history. I wish you two the best with your little bundle!
