This year has been a great one and I need to thank all of my clients who I have had the amazing opportunity to work with. I hope I continue to see you in the future. This year weddings have been a new endeavor for Heather Love photography and can I just say that I LOVE THEM…..yes they are a lot of work and there’s a lot of stress. You have to be at the right place at the right time ALWAYS because you can’t say “hey I’m sorry, I missed that mr. preacher man, I need a do over” that wouldn’t go over very well for anyone and that my just unleash a bridezilla. I have always worked best under pressure, I guess I feed off of the adrenaline. I have been very fortunate in my weddings to work with amazing couples who had faith in me and my photography. I will eternally be grateful to them for trusting in me to capture their truly special day and helping me expand my business to a new market. I am now able to provide my clients with not only child, family, maternity, newborn, and portrait photography but I am now able to offer weddings and all of the great sessions that are fun additions to wedding packages such as engagements & trash the dress/day after.

Hannah & Matt eloped a few months back but they decided to do an actual ceremony that their families could attend. What a fun Irish Halloween wedding. Congrats you two! Many thanks to my second shooter Joel and to the families for letting us be a part of your of your special day.

So it’s good luck if it rains on your wedding day right? These two should have it made then. They had planned a rooftop wedding but luckily there was a backup plan, there was no way the rain or fog was going to clear up, there wasn’t even a glimpse of blue sky to be seen no matter how hard you looked.  Some brides may have been a bit upset that they had to settle for the back up plan but when I arrived Suleika was still all smiles and so excited to be marrying her prince charming! The wedding was absolutely beautiful and you’ll never believe that the wedding was completely planned and coordinated by Suleika’s little sister. Everything from the cookies, the cake, the flowers, all the way to the AMAZING penthouse were provided by friends. I’m really thinking that the little Sis could start her own wedding planning service, take a look for yourself! Thanks for letting me be a part of your big day, congrats!

I love these two pics that my second shooter Mr. Joel Kilby captured, Suleika’s dad getting ready to walk her down the aisle…and I asked Joel to please make sure he got a few shoe shots since Suleika is the spokes model for www.heels.com, he captured the idea perfectly!

I love the connection between the two of them! Soooo in love!

When you wake up on your wedding day and your wedding is outdoors with no back up plan, the last thing you want to see & hear is the pouring rain…. however the skies dried up just in time for this beautiful couple to tie the knot. Thanks to Amber Spratling of Baby Blue Photography for letting me second shoot this special day.
