Seriously, what is it with my luck and crazy windy days when I have outdoor shoots? We still managed to get some great shots with a little improvising on positioning. These two are such a cute couple and I can not wait until their wedding in June, I know it’s going to be amazing. I hope you guys enjoy the sneak peek.

I had the pleasure of meeting this adorable couple thanks to a previous coworker who referred her bestfriend my way. I absolutely love referrals! The wedding is coming up this weekend so I wanted to share their engagement pictures beforehand. Look at how great of a couple these two make, oh and their great dane Jipsy is such a sweetheart. Keep you eyes open for the wedding images and a brief little love story on the two.

It’s that time of year….Spring is just around the corner and with a winter like we’ve had I’m so ready to get outdoors and capture some amazing images… with that said I am offering some great deals to start the new season. See below:

Watching and hearing the terrible news about the tragic situation in Haiti really pulls at my heart, I wish that there was more that I could do personally to help the situation. If I had the availability and I knew I wouldn’t have an emotional break down, I would be there in person to lend a helping hand, however, that’s not the situation, so I have joined in on a grassroots movement of photographers across America to help out in the way that we can. Here’s the scoop:

You and your sweetheart could win a romantic photo session in the heart of downtown Concord or Charlotte (depending upon winners location)

Or one lucky family will win a family session at a location to be announced.

• This session will be photographed the evening of Saturday, February 6th.
• Session will last approximately 1-2 hours.
• Winner will also receive 25 fully processed, high resolution images on CD. Print to your heart’s content!

How to win:

• Make a MINIMUM donation of $10 to the American Red Cross Haiti Relief Fund &
  forward a copy of your receipt to heatherlovephotography @gmail.com
• All entries must be RECEIVED by midnight (eastern time) on January 29th.
• Winner will be drawn at random and announced on January 30th.
  (That gives you a week to shop and find a babysitter, if need be.
  You can enter as many times as you’d like, but each entry must be the minimum $10 donation.)

Other details:

• Session participants must sign a model release.
• Session must be held in Concord or Charlotte on Feb. 6th.
• If the winner does not claim his/her prize by Feb. 1st or cannot claim the prize, then  another winner will be drawn.

When you wake up on your wedding day and your wedding is outdoors with no back up plan, the last thing you want to see & hear is the pouring rain…. however the skies dried up just in time for this beautiful couple to tie the knot. Every year my family vacations on the beautiful Hatteras Island…it’s such a beautiful, relaxing, and amazing place. This is the view from the porch….priceless….
