I know, I know…I’m so behind on blogging this session but here is the adorable K family who took part in my Fall/holiday mini sessions. I had a great time photographing this family; they are super sweet, genuine people. Dad happens to be a photographer as well and you can view his work here. I have had the amazing opportunity to photograph this adorable little family since their maternity session. I absolutely love watching how families grow and change. Thank you guys so much for continuing to choose me to capture your memories.

This little boy was definitely not happy that he had to have his pictures taken but he was still absolutely adorable. Nothing I did made him even crack a smile which reminded me so much of my own little one when we had our family pictures done around the same age. I look back at my pictures and they make me laugh because I remember the mood of my little one that day and nothing that anyone did was going to change that. Too often we think that pictures have to be perfect and that everyone has to be smiling but some of my favorite pictures are those where it tells a story. One positive way to look at it if you have a little one who isn’t wanting to cooperate for pictures is if everyone is smiling and happy there isn’t anything monumental that will stand out and give you a particular memory of the event.  Thank you so much M family

My blog stalkers should be familiar with this family by now! I love that they have continued to choose me  to capture their lives because I truly love watching how their lives have progressed.

One word for this little baby girl…..adorable!

This super sweet mama is expecting her third daughter any day now. I was beginning to get nervous that we weren’t going to be able to get this maternity shoot in due to all the rain and the storms that have been gracing us with their presence, however, as soon as I arrived at her house the sun peeked through the clouds just in time for our session! Isn’t this family just adorable, I can’t wait to meet their new addition.
